March OzoThings: STEAM Learning in Action

This month, classrooms were buzzing with creativity! From measuring real-world distances to coding leprechauns on a quest for gold, educators were finding amazing ways to bring STEAM to life with Ozobot. Here are some of our favorite March highlights!

Measure and Explore

Mrs. Kauffman's third graders used Ari to explore the concept of distance by measuring real-world objects — proving that when Ozobot is involved, even math becomes an adventure!

Strike!

Mrs. Totten's kindergarteners took their number skills to the next level with the Bowling Pin Numbers lesson, combining coding and counting in the most fun way possible.

Exploring the Layers of the Earth

This fifth grade classroom labeled each layer of the Earth — from crust to core — then coded their Ozobot Evos to travel around their diagrams, bringing science to life!

Follow the Rainbow

This classroom celebrated St. Patrick's Day by sending Evo leprechauns on a quest for gold, using speed and directional Color Codes to navigate a colorful path.

Let the Games Begin!

Students at Belmont Elementary engineered their own jousting setups using cups, wooden sticks, and Ozobot, coding their bots to compete in an epic classroom tournament!

Code a Story

These students combined literacy and coding by using Color Codes to sequence story events in order — a creative way to reinforce both narrative skills and programming concepts at the same time!

Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing your ideas and creativity come to life. Keep the STEAM activities and ideas coming, and don’t forget to tag @Ozobot or use #Ozobot in your posts for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
