SEL is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL can (and should!) be more than just a 30-minute lesson.
In this webinar, Ozobot Certified Educator, Jessie Erickson, shared about incorporating the excitement of Ozobot into an SEL lesson to intentionally cultivate a caring, participatory, and equitable learning environment that actively involves all students contributes to their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Programming a Story’s Literary Elements with Evo
This webinar, co-hosted by Ozobot Certified Educator Sheila Slawiak, and Christopher Plasse, melds literary analysis with two types of programming seamlessly so teachers can facilitate (project based) collaborative projects that are robust in nature, accommodate heterogeneous teams, and allow students to share their super powers while sharing “what they know” with each other, then presenting their project with teachers, parents, and their community.
