Beginner-Friendly Programming

Programming doesn’t have to be a puzzle. ORA editor is based on Ozobot Blockly, a familiar interface with multiple coding levels for beginner to advanced users.

Structured Concurrency

Unlike the event-based approach known from other comparable visual programming languages, ORA utilizes structured concurrency which allows for finer control of the parallel processes’ completion or termination. This offers a uniquely powerful and flexible approach to managing concurrent tasks within a program.

Connecting ORA to the internet

No. ORA does not have an internal Wifi card. It must be connected via ethernet cable to an ethernet wall port or hotspot.

No. You can access ORA from a separate network as long as both networks have UDP (DLTS, SCTP) traffic routed through them.

Allow outgoing communications on the following ports: 15671/tcp, 5671/tcp, 80/udp, 443/udp

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or any Chromium based browser.

Troubleshooting

Go to the ORA Editor, connect to ORA and follow the calibration instructions
Make sure to clean all objects that might be in contact with the robotic arm and then click the “Clear error” button in the right panel.
Maximum speed errors occur due to a singularity. Singularities occur when the robot’s joints are aligned in such a way that its control loses its ability to move the tool end in some specific direction. This can cause the robot to appear stuck or unable to move along certain paths or orientations, often preceded by an irregular increase of speed in some specific direction.
Remove all blocking objects and use the reset button to reset the arm.
