It’s time to update your Evo bots! This exciting new firmware update is quick and easy and can be done using Python Beta. Read on for step-by-step instructions for this required update. And if you’re not a Python Beta user, you can also update Evo using Ozobot Blockly or the Evo App.
To begin your update, head to beta.python.ozobot.com and ensure your Evo is connected to power and turned on.
Next, select “Connect Robot” in the top right corner of the screen and then select your Evo from your browser’s pop-up menu and hit “Pair”.
A menu will appear listing which updates are needed — Firmware, BLE or Assets — it may need only one or two, or could be all three!
During the update process, you may be asked to re-pair your Evo bot. It’s important you do not leave the page or close the window during its progress.
From start to finish, the update can take up to seven minutes. Once complete, your Evo is ready to go!
