Black History: Influential People
Celebrate Harriet Tubman and her heroic work to free slaves in the underground railroad with this lesson, Black History: Influential People. Designed for grade levels 2 – 5, students will read clues to identify five different influential people, one of which being Harriet Tubman, in Black history and draw a picture to show a major event for each. Students will create an interactive timeline using Color Codes to program their bot to move through history.
Daylight Saving Time, March 12th
Just in time for Daylight Saving, this lesson teaches time-telling on digital and analog clocks for second-grade instruction. Students use numbers their bot randomly chooses to write and tell time on the two different clock types, then connect their daily schedules with the times they write.
