Ozobot Coding Challenge

Mr. MacLennan’s class engaged in an Ozobot coding challenge, where his students constructed ramps and programmed Ozobots using Blockly!

Hollywood-themed Ozobot maze STEAM activity for February OzoThings

OzoMaze

Ms. Knopinska’s third-grade students crafted a Hollywood-themed Ozobot maze. Utilizing color-coded paths incorporating speed, direction, and special codes, they navigated their Ozobots through iconic Hollywood landscapes and beyond!

Ozobot STEAM activity for Groundhog day. Students use Legos to build a burrow and Evo as the groundhog.

Groundhog Day

In honor of Groundhog Day, these seventh and eighth-grade students demonstrated their creativity by constructing a Lego burrow and devising a code for their Ozobot groundhog to navigate its escape route!

Two fifth grade students collaborate to troubleshoot their Ozobot color codes.

Color Code Cohesion

These two fifth graders collaborated diligently as they troubleshooted their Ozobot color codes, showcasing the true spirit of teamwork!

Students work together to create space-themed mazes for their Ozobot to travel from sun and moon to other planets.

Out of This World

Ms. Osborn’s students worked together to craft space-themed mazes for their Ozobots, embarking on a journey from the sun and moon to explore all the planets in between.

Students use craft supplies to create storyboard timelines and coding their bots to travel each timeline.

Ozobot Storyboards

Utilizing glue, wooden sticks, craft supplies, and more, Ms. Duncan’s classroom crafted storyboard timelines. After bringing their boards to life, the students coded their Ozobot to navigate through each timeline map.

Students make tracks and raced their bots in this Cross Country Skiing Competition STEAM activity by Ozobot

Cross Country Skiing Competition

In a thrilling Ozobot Cross Country Skiing competition, students crafted tracks and raced their bots down the tracks, with the fastest time clocking in at an impressive 1 minute and 37 seconds! Check out the excitement and innovation from these young coders!

Student create large paper mazes with colorful designs including underwater scenes, pizza-themed elements and digestive system illustrations. Students are working collaboratively.

OzoJourney

During Engineering Week, these students crafted artistic mazes for their Ozobots, ranging from an underwater sea adventure to an extraterrestrial pizza party and even a journey through the digestive tract. Their Ozobots navigated through each unique maze!

Fifth grade students learn about ocean currents by recreating the Gulf Stream in this hands-on STEAM activity.

Sea Adventure

These fifth-grade coding enthusiasts delved into the fascinating world of ocean currents. They embarked on a hands-on journey by simulating the Gulf Stream, guiding their Ozobots along the intricate paths of these currents.
