OzoThings: Our Back-to-School Favorites

School is back in session and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve had a blast seeing all your Ozobot inspired creations, and we’re ready to get back in the classroom. Before we say our final goodbye to summer, check out some of our favorite August OzoThings

Evo the Mathematician

Decomposing numbers can be hard, especially when first explained to students. Luckily, Evo can help explain complex ideas  and make learning fun. Keiondra Simpson had her students decompose numbers while Evo went through a path that relied on the students finding the correct numbers and filling in the correct Color Code. Keep up the good work!

Teamwork and coding are the perfect pair!

Working with your bestie is fun, but working with your bestie and Evo is even better! Students at Ben Franklin Elementary had a blast working together to learn how to code Evo using Color Codes! Color Codes is great for teaching younger students about programming and giving them an introduction into the coding world!

Evo has no age limit

While many think Evo is just for students, they would be mistaken. Evo can teach anyone at any age. Johnson College hosted Pioneer Nights where adults and children got to learn and play with Evo using Color Codes and Ozobot Blockly

Programming with Color Codes

First and Second graders at Hums Elementary kicked off the school year with learning how to code Evo with Color Codes! From what we can see it looked like a blast! Thank you, Ryan Mitchell for sharing, keep up the good work.

3D printable accessories

Does your school have a 3D printer? If so, you can print out your very own Evo accessories like Diahann Ouly did. We loved seeing what she was able to draw with the Evo pen holder. Not to mention the code she created in Ozobot Blockly to get Evo to draw.

Check out our 3D CAD Library to find the perfect Evo accessory for you and your students!

Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing all of your ideas and creativity! Keep the wonderful ideas coming, and be sure to tag @Ozobot or #Ozobot in your creations this summer for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
