December was filled with festive STEAM learning as students used Ozobot to explore programming concepts, get creative with classroom projects, and dive into holiday-themed coding activities. Take a look at some of the featured projects from classrooms around the country that showcase students’ critical-thinking and collaboration skills, while building serious STEAM skills!
It was an exciting day for these second graders during Innovator’s Day at Vaughn Elementary! Students participated in hands-on activities such as building bridges, designing a snowman, and exploring cultural holidays.
Second graders at Nebbie Williams Elementary are already showing their coding skills in a big way! During Hour of Code week, they were diving into the basics of programming with Ozobot, blending creativity and fun in every lesson.
First graders at Hayes Hawks were diving into Hour of Code Week with Ozobot. As part of their lesson on prepositions, they coded paths for their bots and used prepositions to describe how they traveled on paper. Check out how these bots moved under, above, and between shapes!
This kindergarten class had a blast making gingerbread houses and coding with Ozobot! Students combined creativity and coding for a fun, festive experience.
This classroom had a blast coding with Ozobots to light up a Christmas tree! Working in teams, students created color code maps and even added some fun tricks during Synergy.
These Pre-K through 1st-grade students teamed up with high schoolers to build a course representing key parts of The Polar Express story using Color Code Magnets. It was a successful holiday STEM Day!
This classroom had a blast playing Dreidel Bot in the library! Working in groups, students filled in their color code maps and transformed Ozobot into a dreidel.
At Edith Cavell, fourth-grade students programmed Ozobot and uncovered all the parts of a snowman, then they built their own creations!
Fourth-grade students dove into ocean exploration through interactive learning stations! They examined animals and plants under a microscope, matched marine animals to their descriptions, and programmed Ozobot to navigate food chains, showcasing the flow of energy in marine ecosystems.
This group of fifth graders took Hour of Code week to the next level with Ozobot! They programmed robots using drawn paths and color patterns, teamed up to create larger, connected designs, and even brainstormed ways to improve the marker attachments and code stencils.
