Educators have been embracing the power of STEAM with Ozobot, and this November, classrooms were alive with creativity and innovation! From coding unicellular organisms to designing community maps, bridges, and even parade balloons, students combined hands-on learning with critical thinking and problem-solving. Explore these inspiring highlights to see how educators are bringing lessons to life with Ozobot!
Ms. Schmidt’s eighth-grade class brought their learning about unicellular organisms to life! Students coded their bots to simulate the movement of these organisms, using either cilia or flagella for motion.
First graders in Mrs. Glazier’s and Ms. Rose’s classes took a creative approach to learning about communities! They designed and coded their own community maps, complete with roads and buildings. Using coding skills, they programmed their bots to navigate through their maps, bringing their creations to life.
Norwood Elementary students designed bridges and tunnels to help their Ozobot get home from school, combining engineering and coding in a fun STEM challenge.
Fifth graders built 3D solar systems and tested their Ozobots to explore planetary paths, blending STEM learning with creativity!
Fourth and fifth graders at Stipes Stallions raced their Ozobot after reading Dav Pilkey’s ‘Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving đŸ¦ƒ! A fun, festive way to combine reading and coding.
One of Mrs. Byer’s classroom’s favorite activities is reading Balloons Over Broadway and then creating our own parade balloons. This year, Ozobot Evos made the perfect base for our balloons, adding a fun tech twist to the project!
Ms. Hickman’s students had an amazing time coding with Ozobot this week! They demonstrated incredible grit and used their critical thinking skills to tackle challenges while writing their code. What a fun and inspiring week of problem-solving and learning!
Thank you to all our educators who shared their students’ creations. We love seeing your ideas and creativity come to life. Keep the STEAM activities and ideas coming, and don’t forget to tag @Ozobot or use #Ozobot in your posts for a chance to be featured in our next roundup of favorite #OzoThings.
