Happy Thanksgiving, OzoSquad! While gathered around our conference table, the team here at Ozobot couldn’t help but be thankful for YOU! The educators, parents, and kids that make up our inspiring community, fill our hearts with so much gratitude.
This month, our favorite OzoThings theme is all things autumn-related! From Thanksgiving to the fallen leaves, and everything in between. We hope you love these great shares from our community as much as we do!
Fall Creative Prompt- Leaf Tracing!
We love seeing our creative prompts brought to life by educators everywhere! Here in LA, we don’t get many fallen leaves, so we really enjoyed being able to see your beautiful fall leaves!
Leaves 🍁, markers, paper and an @ozobot, what can you create? Lots of determination, perseverance and problem solving from the grade 3’s! #peel21st pic.twitter.com/X9XDWgHoYW

We went on a leaf hunt with UPK and found @Ozobot leaves all around the room last week! We then made our own shape trails for our Ozobots to travel on. Our littlest students had the best time #EducateInspireEmpower #CSrocks #funwithSTEAM #funinthelibrary pic.twitter.com/TsmXbKgyZO

Today @WilshireLibrary the students were able to explore the @Ozobot. They traced leaves and watched the @Ozobot follow the path. They learned that they needed to draw thick lines instead of thin! Great work! @WilshireES #ASD #CommunityClass @ONTSpecialNeeds pic.twitter.com/5oSOOJS3RH

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
One of our favorite educator-submitted lessons is one involving the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In this project, students create a parade path for the Ozobots to follow, making connections with the book Balloons Over Broadway. Seeing all of your students’ balloon creations warms our hearts!
#ozobot excitement as we had our own parade in K and 1st. #BalloonsOverBroadway pic.twitter.com/wveoN88Ir6

We had a new student that hadn't seen @Ozobot before. Amazing! We learned a lot though…some balloons too large made float top-heavy, others that cut down a paper towel roll were too short for balancing on the robot. #makerspace #txlchat @TBABooks Balloons over Broadway #2lead pic.twitter.com/kCQL9MCF0o

We also designed our own 🎈 and attached it to our @Ozobot to create our own #MacysParade ! We loved reading #BalloonsOverBroadway ! #cvesrocks @PowayUnified @pusdvoyager @UnexpectedEd pic.twitter.com/l5Co7cW9cv

Turkey Time
Of course, with Thanksgiving finally here, we had to spotlight some turkey fun! We were in awe of the intricate turkeys your students came up with.
