The school year is off to an exciting start, with students diving into coding and STEM! They’re showcasing their skills through creative projects including color-coded maps, a Bot Dance Party, and recreating the Monarch butterfly migration. Discover how these amazing educators and classes are kicking off their year with Ozobot!
These sixth-grade students focused their attention on the solar system, creating a color-coded track for Evo that spanned from the Earth to the moon. Their track allowed Evo to explore the cosmos!
In this third-grade classroom, students crafted 3-D story maps for their Ozobots using sea creature toys and construction paper. They coded their bots to align with their stories, providing a fantastic opportunity for problem-solving and creativity.
This classroom of computer science students loves coding their Ozobots! Before the exciting class race, they tested various speed codes to determine the best spots to incorporate them on their tracks, along with a special moves code. Their favorite move is the tornado color code!
This fourth and fifth grade classroom practiced strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking today using their Ozobots and Color Code Magnets. Each student created their own unique track, demonstrating their creativity and understanding of coding concepts!
Mrs. Rubeck’s classroom explored the remarkable migration of monarch butterflies as part of their Global Exploration journey. Students tracked their butterfly bots’ long-distance travel from North America to Mexico.
Mrs. Phillips’ students learned they could code by using a variety of color code commands. The excitement from these first graders was contagious! They are already looking forward to working with their bots this school year.
Ms. Novinger’s third grade class is tackling three digital problems. Students took turns rolling dice to randomly select their numbers, added U-turn and speed codes to the map, and watched as Ozobot navigated the mat, creating problems for them to solve.
Students at Westhaven Elementary School collaborated with each other using Ozobots and color code magnets during their House Mixer Dance Party.
Miss Well’s second grade class created a ‘Grade 2 Adventure’ map with all the things they want to try this year, then guided their Ozobots along the path! They can’t wait to compare it to their end-of-year maps!
These young scholars at Meadowview Elementary School are learning to code with Ozobot! From calibrating their robots to running tracks, they enjoyed a full day of learning and laughter.
These first and third grade students are diving into programming Ozobot using color codes! The excitement and creativity from these young coders was off the charts. What an amazing way to kick off the school year!
