September OzoThings: Students are Fall-ing for STEAM Learning!

As students settled into the new school year, we saw many classrooms jumping into action! From Ozobot challenges, to an Ozo racetrack and even a road trip with Evo, these creative students were excited to put their new learning tools to work. Here’s a glimpse of what’s been happening!

OzoTeam Challenge

Ms. Robles’ third grade class rocked their Ozobot Team Challenge with problem solving, collaboration and perseverance! Each team took Evo for a spin on their course. Amazing teamwork!

Evo Edu Time

Ms. McRae kicked off the school year with Evo, learning the basis of color coding.

Start Your Engines

Ms. Whitesell’s fourth grade class kicked off the school year with an Ozobot race. Using the 4 C’s to code, they guided Evo from start to finish around their race track. They were ready to hit the track!

Story Telling Time

Ms. Martinez’s class guided Evo through their story timeline! From beginning to end, they coded a path for their bots.

Busy Bee

The classrooms in EPiC Elementary took lifecycles to the next level. From an egg, to a larva, to a bee, this life cycle run by Evo displayed the different phases of a bee!

OzoArt Show

The Cardwell Career Prep Library celebrated Dot Day with collaborative art projects using color codes. Each student created a one of a kind unique piece of art for their bots to navigate!

Evo Maze Challenge

Ms. Churchill’s classroom put their bots through a maze challenge. Each student partnered up back to back to code Evo through each maze. Collaboration + communication + coding = Ozobot fun!

Linear Equations

These Algebra 1 students solved linear equations in a fun and creative way using their bots. They teamed up into groups to crack each math equation. Ms. Bruce loved hearing her students’ communication skills as they collaborated together to solve problems!

Road Trip!

Ms. Huggin’s class created a road map for Evo to take a road trip across a few neighboring states. They were excited to jump into the color coding world with their bots!
